You have to start slow and work your way up. In the beginning you should be able to carry on a conversation while you exercise without losing your breath. . Over time, your body will adapt to your exercise program and you will actually feel tired and unhealthy when you miss a day of exercise.

4. I’ve tried it before and can’t seem to stick with it.

You will follow through this time because you have an exercise program to give you structure and a weight loss counselor to keep you accountable. The only way you can fail is if you stop trying.

Exercise is essential to health and being at your ideal weight. If you don’t exercise at all, consider that you’re shortchanging your health and will never enjoy being the best you can be.
