What is the best way to reverse adrenal stress (level 5)?
This question is from Dawn.
1. i'd advise you to review our section on adrenal stress during Week 7.
Take the quiz in that lesson.
2. Get your adrenals tested. a simple saliva test. (we offer that on our coaching program). Your treatment will depend on how severe you are and when your cortisol levels are lowest and if there are other deficient hormones.
3. You MUST address the cause! There are a number of factors that play a role in adrenal stress/fatigue and exhaustion. Here are some examples:
Are you emotionally stressed out?
Are you ingesting caffiene?
Are you eating sugar?
4. Use EFT, relaxation techniques to help you with stress. This is so important.
5. Try an adrenal supplement to help nourish adrenals. We offer one in our store called "Adrenal Rescue." It's potent--perfect for a level 5 adrenal stress.
6. Make sure your blood sugars are stable by eating 6 meals a day.
It's really difficult for me to pinpoint where your problems lie with this issue. That's why we have a coaching program where we can give individualized advice. I do hope you will discuss affordable payment options with Dr. Scott (DrScott@enlita.com) because i want to see you thrive and overcome these obstacles that are preventing you from losing weight! I know we can help you and i don't want money to prevent you from getting the help you need.
Thank you! (I should have taken more time to comb through the lessons :D)
I am very excited to see results from these supplements!

Dawn,
I believe the general dosing information for both was included within the lessons. Following the recommended dosing on the bottle is advisable. But here are more specifics regarding the general dosing of both products:
5-HTP can have relaxing effects, so it's best not to take it in the early morning. Typical dosages are 50-100mg, up to two to three times a day such as afternoon or before bedtime. I generally suggest that one starts with a lower dosage initially, and then increase if needed. Note - 5-HTP tends to be very safe, but speak with your primary care before taking 5-HTP if you are taking SSRI or MAO meds.
The Adrenal Rescue suggested dosing is 2 caps in the morning, preferably with a meal.
Hope you find that these help you!
Dr. Marci Scott
I have received the Adrenal Rescue and the 5-HTP. Do I take them as written on the bottle? It seems somewhere I read some more specific directions pertaining to dosage and time of day, but I cannot find it on the site now.
Can you direct me, please?
Thanks,
Dawn
The hypoglycemia quiz included in Day 3 Week 7 of the lessons can also be used as an indicator of possible adrenal issues. Also, common adrenal fatigue symptoms are listed under Day 6. Congrats on exploring this issue!

Dr. Pearsall,
I appreciate your response! Thank you for your big heart and helping all of us. And for not giving up on me!
1. i'd advise you to review our section on adrenal stress during Week 7.Take the quiz in that lesson.
I am not finding a quiz under Adrenals Week 7. Can you please direct me to where that is located? Is it the quiz under Hypoglycemia?
Supplements:
I would like to supplement with amino acids, however I still am not sure which ones are right for me or which ones interfere or overlap with what I am already doing.
2. Get your adrenals tested. a simple saliva test. (we offer that on our coaching program). Your treatment will depend on how severe you are and when your cortisol levels are lowest and if there are other deficient hormones.
I have already been tested for this. I am a level 5.
3. You MUST address the cause!
Trying!
4. Use EFT, relaxation techniques to help you with stress. This is so important.
Thank you, I am learning to use EFT. I have no idea WHY this is so hard for me to get down. I will get it!!
That's why we have a coaching program where we can give individualized advice.
I will contact Dr. Scott and get signed up on the coaching program. I think that's the best route for me.
Warm regards!
