I have just about finished the lessons for Week 1. I started the menu for week 1 yesterday. I can already feel a difference as my blood sugar is readjusting. I could not complete the daily food diary as I cannot find the breakdown for bean & cheese dip. I called the restaurant and they couldn't help me. If anyone has this information, would you please let me know so I can finish that assignment.

I also went for my physical last week and got my blood results. I tried to input the results, but the machine won't allow it.

This might sound strange, but what is a blog, and how does it work?

I look forward to working with you guys and hopefully develop some support and friendships through this program.

That makes sense. I just noticed also in the shopping list for week two. I'll try it out. I need more variety so this is good.

It was probably listed as an optional raw veggie for snacking. Just peel it slice and eat raw as you would carrots or cucumber- with hummus or another dip.

Week One

I used the menus and shopping list for week one, but now have a jicama still in my fridge. It wasn't in any of the recipes. What do I do with it? How do I prepare it? Also, can you remove it from the shopping list or update the menu recipes to show where it should be used?

We are glad to hear your blood sugars are normalizing.
Yes, we've received other complaints about the food diary so I decided to take it out. Go back and reread Week 1 Lesson 3.

There is no way to input your blood test results. You'll just have to compare your results with the optimal levels handout we provide by reading it over.

A blog is a journal for you to write about your experiences on the program--or anything you want to write about. You can make it public or private.
