Hi Everyone

I made the crockpot chicken the other night while sleeping. It smelled wonderful when I took it out. I covered it and put it in the frig. When I was preparing my meals yesterday, the chicken was very dry. Does anyone have any advice on what I may have done wrong or how to make sure it is juicy next time? Also, if you cut open an avocado to use in wraps, how do you keep it from getting brown. I used to use lime juice, but it would still oxidize.

Thank you for your help.

Hello,
Chicken will always dry out to a certain degree when stored, but perhaps if you were able to store the chicken with the cooking liquid (in a shallow covered container) it would not get as dry...if you avoid slicing it all at once, this should help as well.
As for avocado, if you store the remaining avocado with the pit intact, it will not brown as much. The browning is not harmful, just unattractive, so the other option is to just ignore it!
Hope this helps,
