Chia Seeds
I have purchased chia seeds. They are just as small as poppy seeds. Do they need to ge ground, like flaxseeds, to make their nutrients available? Currently, flax are the only seeds that I grind. Which seeds should be ground and which seeds can be eaten whole?
Also, I wasn't very successful in popping amaranth. A few did pop but most did not. I had to stop the popping process when they were in danger of becoming burned. There was no noticeable difference between those kernels that popped and those that did not.
